There is no guaranteed “best” time of day for snorkeling. Conditions can vary daily based on weather, wind, and sea state. Both morning and afternoon trips can offer excellent snorkeling, and our captains select snorkeling locations in real time based on the day’s conditions to provide the best experience possible.
We pick up on the beach by boat at select locations along Grace Bay Beach. Based on your hotel or villa location, your booking confirmation will provide the closest beach access for you. If you are renting a car it is easy to navigate our island to a public access pick up location. In addition, there are a number of taxi services that can assist you.
Wear comfortable clothes and a bathing suit. You will need towels, sunglasses, sandals, reef safe sunblock (no spray please), hat, GoPro, credit card, cash or voucher and a tote to carry it all. Your valuables should be left in your hotel.

ABSOLUTELY!! Sun burn on vacation is not fun. We prefer you to use an Eco-Friendly / Reef Safe sunblock, which can be easily purchased prior to your arrival. We also offer small sized Reef Safe sunblock at our storefront.
You don’t have to be a strong swimmer, but it’s better if you can swim or know the basics of swimming. We offer snorkel vests which will give you enough buoyancy that you will not sink involuntarily.
No, we do not offer prescription masks, but if you own one you are welcome to bring it.
Absolutely. However, it is possible for water to get into the mask while snorkeling. Best to change lenses after a swim.
No! Some of our guests don’t snorkel at all. Feel free to use the rooftop lounge during the snorkel segment.

Turks and Caicos is a tropical destination, and weather conditions can vary across the island. It is common to experience rain or wind in one area while other parts of the island have clear skies and sunshine.
Brief rain showers are typical in tropical climates and often pass quickly. Because of this, weather-related decisions are usually made by our captains on the day of the tour based on current sea and safety conditions.
Unless you are contacted by a representative, your tour will run as scheduled. If a tour must be canceled due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, a member of our team will reach out to reschedule based on your stay and our availability.
Our standard cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour.
For full-day BBQ trips, the cancellation policy is 48 hours.
For any booking secured with a deposit fee, the cancellation policy is also 48 hours.
Group tours: If you arrive late, you may miss the boat and will not be eligible for a refund, as the tour must stay on schedule for other guests.
Private tours: Arriving late will simply reduce your own tour time, as the schedule is reserved exclusively for you.
Staff favorites, in no particular order:
Lemon 2 Go, Turkberry, Caicos Bakery, Shay Cafe. Likewise stop by Turks Island Coffee Roaster, pick up a bag to enjoy in your room or villa. Don't forget to take a bag home to savor the local taste of the island.
Lobster season in from August 1st through March 31st. During lobster season we try our best to add it to our menu for full-day trips.
Curiosity kills the coral. Be careful not to touch, kick or stand on the coral as they are extremely diverse and important ecosystems. They provide protection and shelter for many species and protect the coastline from strong currents, waves and hurricanes. A little marine etiquette goes a long way in preventing damage to these amazing resources.
If you’re traveling with an experienced snorkeler, don’t feel pressured to go beyond your comfort zone.
There is nothing quite like snorkeling, so if you get the opportunity, don’t miss out. There is so much to see lying just under the surface.
